Then I started working with a real estate agent and I starting accessing the MLS site direct and i never went back to the zillow and trulia's of the world. I think it's easy for agents to assume/take for granted what people know. This isn't a slam on those searching for homes -- it's REALLY easy to assume these national sites have all the available homes. The guy that buys a home every six or seven years can't be expected to know (or honestly, care) what the difference is between the MLS, the IDX and a listing aggregation site. I think it’s easy for agents to assume/take for granted what people know. This isn’t a slam on those searching for homes — it’s REALLY easy to assume these national sites have all the available homes. The guy that buys a home every six or seven years can’t be expected to know (or honestly, care) what the difference is between the MLS, the IDX and a listing aggregation site.
