Kevin Woody, CEO of our newest franchise Better Homes and Gardens® Real Estate Go Realty, in Cary, NC, answers ten questions with Clean Slate, and talks about curiosity, building relationships, and frisbee golf.

  1. Which of our BHGRE® P.A.I.G.E. (Passion, Authenticity, Innovation, Growth, Excellence) core values do you identify with most, and why?

    Authenticity – I love the freedom and creativity that are unleashed when we operate from our best self and with our values in mind.

  2. What are your favorite qualities in a customer? 

    I enjoy working with people who can find the humor, value quality, and look for solutions.

  3. What is the one characteristic that’s helped you the most in your career? 

    Curiosity – I think it is so important to learn from every outcome, book, and person along the way.

  4. What was the last book you read? 

    John Quincy Adams, biography by Harlowe Unger.

  5. If you were not in real estate, what would you be doing? 

    Teaching college students in an interdisciplinary program on a campus with a great pool, frisbee golf, and terrific basketball program.

  6. What was the last song you heard that you couldn’t stop humming? 

    “Speak Life” by Toby Mac

  7. Who is your real-life hero? 

    Jesus – he’s rescued me with his superpowers on many an occasion.

  8. What is your favorite motto? 

    “I will persist until I succeed. Small steps, repeated, will complete any undertaking.” – Og Mandino

  9. If you could sell a home in any market in the world, where would it be? 

    Gulu, Uganda – there are some incredible people there whom it would be great to serve.

  10. What advice would you give your younger self starting out in real estate? 

    Relax, dude; it’s not always about working so hard.  It is about the relationships you build along the way.
