ICNY 18: Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Relaunches Beta Brokers Program
To celebrate Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate’s 10-year anniversary, the Beta Brokers program has been refreshed and relaunched, featuring a new website and platform allowing real estate professionals to “gather and employ best practices across marketing, operations, technology, business planning and more.” The main purpose of the program is to give real estate professionals ideas for business strategies, inspiring a different take on long-established practices from “trailblazers in real estate.”

 Existing-Home Sales: A Dim End to a Bright Year
Existing-home sales in December dimmed, but for the year they were at a record not seen in the past 11 years, reports the National Association of REALTORS®. Existing home sales in December totaled 5.57 million, a 3.6 percent decrease from November but a 1.1 percent increase from the year prior. Inventory decreased 11.4 percent to 1.48 million homes, which was 10.3 percent lower than the previous year.
